Edmonton is known for its strong research institutions and growing tech sector, yet challenges remain in realizing its full potential as an innovation-driven economy.

While the region benefits from a growing talent pool and established industries, its entrepreneurial ecosystem requires coordinated efforts to reach scale.

Our vision is to position Edmonton as a leading center for innovation in Canada, building on our strengths including life sciences, energy, and artificial intelligence.

Through MIT REAP, we aim to create a strategic and inclusive value proposition that strengthens collaboration, aligns incentives, and accelerates commercialization pathways.
